Blogging At Slip Into Something Victorian
I'm blogging over at Slip Into Something Victorian today. The blog's about my husband's search to find a Civil War soldier ancestor and the interesting results.
Loved your Victorians' blog. I love learning about family history. My mother can trace her family back to the "King's Girls," young unmarried girls who were sent by Louis XIV to marry the first settlers of New France (now Quebec).
These girls were all supposed to be "of good family," but I must admit I've often wondered. And what became of the ones who didn't marry?

Thanks, Cynthia!
It's always interesting to learn things about your family history. And being a fiction writer, what you learn can fire up the imagintion.
