Diving Back In

Since I've finished up several projects, at least for the time being, the time has finally come for me to dive back into my science fiction romance, Moons of Cynara. I started off by reading what I'd written so far of the first draft, almost 200 pages.

I thought I'd cringe when I reread the beginning of the story, but I find I really like these characters and world I've created. Of course, I just couldn't resist a bit of revising and editing as I read. And today I added 1285 new words to my word count. It helps that I have the entire story plotted out. When I got to the last page, I didn't have to try to figure out what came next.

For tomorrow, I'll try to write at least another 1000 words, then just keep adding on. The best part is, I'm having fun.

Always good to have fun! But the best part is you like your story! I've re-read sections of stff I've written even a week ago and wonder what I was thinking. Looks like you're moving right along on this one.

Thanks, Isabel! It's always nice when you can reread something you've written awhile ago and not cringe. Of course, this is only the first draft. Still a lot of changes to be made. LOL.
